Fall Retreat

So I just got back from a weekend of camping and bible study in central Missouri with Campus Crusade for Christ. We camped at Turkey Hill Bible Camp and our theme was "Epic" as related to the epic story that God is writing and that we are characters in. Our study was focused around John 14:6, where Christ tells his disciples that he is "The way the truth and the life". We were asked to reflect on this statement and how Christ should be in the center of our "story", while encouraging each of us to rely on each other for growth. I learned a great deal from the speakers, but I really enjoyed the chance to hang out with some of the new freshmen and get to know them. I look forward to the opportunities of discipleship with them to come.
