Old Friends and New Horizons

First of all, I would just like to apologize for the two-and-a-half month silence. Internet time out in San Diego was hard to come by and our schedules were pretty full. The summer ended sending me from San Diego back to the good ol' STL, where I was greeted by an all to familar friend: humidity. I had spent the last two months living it up in a breezy 75 degree climate, only to return to the humid midwest where the high was 98 degrees with a heat index of over 100 on my first day back. Not exactly my prefered welcome home present, but a welcome all the same ;)
I had one week to catch up with family, friends, find a place to live, move into said place, renew my expired drivers license (yes I drove across country on an expired license), renew my plates, go to the eye doctor, order new contacts, file a police report for the $324 of debit fraud that I had experienced over the summer, and buy textbooks, all before school started. So all in all, it was a pretty normal week for me ;) I made it through all of that though, and now I am sitting pretty in the 3rd week of my senior year, wondering how time is flying by so fast. I am really looking forward to what God has planned for me on campus this year, and what ministry opportunities he is going to send my way. I am really looking forward to the bible study that I am going to be leading this year as well as being more intentional about sharing my faith with fellow students.
P.S. The pic is from the day before we left when a bunch of us went snorkeling in the Pacific
