Taking a Step Back

I feel that it is sometimes good to take a step back and really evaluate what is going on in my life. I am about to graduate and I am currently in the middle of some very important life decisions that, to be completely honest, are kicking my butt. I have been praying for guidance and direction for some time, and while I don't think that I have arrived at a definitive revelation for God's calling for my life (afterall, I would never claim to fully understand God's intentions) I do feel that He has given me some peace about the whole situation. I will simply step out in faith that He is going to provide for me. So yesterday, I was able to spend the day with friends down in Forest Park, goofing off, rolling down hills, playing random camp games, you know that normal college student stuff :) ...and I did it all without a thought of the stresses of graduation...God is good.

Clayton,

I'm extremely glad that God is directing your life. Our human plans have changed so much the past few months, but God's plan and purpose for our lives has never changed! He remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.

It's been awesome having you as a roommate these past seven or eight months. We've had our tangles, but they definitely helped our friendship because of our union in Jesus Christ.

Love you, bro. :)

A few months ago I left a heart-felt message about how much I enjoyed having you as a friend and roommate, but for some reason it didn't post. I blame the MBU network.

I love not stressing out.

Miss ya, bro.
